Tuxedo Café & Pâtisserie at Carlton City Hotel

Nicely done cafe in the lobby of Carlton City hotel Tanjong Pagar. Tucked away in the corner of the lobby with funky decor, they offer takeaway as well as a few seats to sit down and relax. Perfect spot to grab a coffee during your stay or on your way out.

Was there yesterday for some coffee & quiet time while i do my work. Wifi is awesome but you can get the password only after purchasing stuff, there’s 2 spots for plugs . Wagyu burger was fantastic, forgot to take picture. Coffee- got loyalty card, service was impeccable, stayed all day & ended up having my meals there. went there thinking to get 1 coffee but ended up spending more because it was so comfortable being there

The cakes were aesthetically appealing to me. The texture was very nice with a good balance of sweet and sour. Will come back to try their other offerings.

Located in Carlton City Hotel lobby. Cosy and quiet place to enjoy a cuppa. Great coffee and service.

Great service staff. Friendly and reliable. Food, in my opinion, is excellent. Fresh bread and ingredients for the sandwich I had. Tea was served by pot.

????Tuxedo Café & Pâtisserie ???? Carlton City Hotel 1 Gopeng Street, Singapore 078862 ???? My husband and I came to Tuxedo Cafe & Patisserie for coffee on 15th March 2025 ( Sat) at about 3pm. This small cafe is nestled within Carlton City Hotel's lobby area. ???? This tiny corner cafe, I must say, is a charming and elegant spot perfect for a leisurely coffee break or indulgent treat. This stylish cafe exudes sophistication, with its sleek décor and refined atmosphere. ???? The food + menu = It has quite an extensive selection of coffee drinks, teas and other cold beverages. ● The glass showcases were full of delicious looking French-inspired pastries, croissants, cakes, tarts and other desserts. We ordered 2 Iced Cafe Lattes ( customised with one espresso shot & more milk). I like my cafe lattes crafted this way. I also bought the Cherry Pie (SGD6) home as a takeaway. ???? Service = Justin, the cafe staff, served us our Cherry Pie takeaway order. He was very friendly, genuine and affable. The other wait staff, an Indian lady, made our Iced Coffees. She was very nice and polite as well. Overall, we had a tranquil & quiet time here at this cafe, sipping our iced coffees and doing some work. Thank You to the 2 wait staff for their kind hospitality earlier on.

I have been to Tuxedo, Trading Floor and Cooling Tower at Carlton City Hotel countless times. I love these F&B outlets because of a few things: 1. The crew - Riana, Justin and Gopala are my favourite baristas. They make excellent coffees and know exactly what I want - soy cappuccino. The coffee taste is consistently great. They will take my order before I even say it. They will always chat with me especially on a tough day when I am buried in my work (Tuxedo has become my work area too). Special shout-out to Justin who will take my lunch order over the phone when I am in a rush so that I wont have to wait long when I get to Tuxedo. Sharmila, Zin Min and Rodney are my favourite bartenders. They make refreshing drinks and good recommendations for my boys who are not yet able to take alcohol. They love the Mango Jumbo and Shirley Temple. They know our orders by hard too. Sharmila knows my boys love their orange crackers and will always pick them out for them. These people make Carlton City a special place with their excellent service and kindness. 2. The view - The best seat in the house at Tuxedo is those facing Tras Link Park. It is the best place to read, do deep work or just enjoy a peaceful lunch. The best seat at Cooling Tower are those facing the port. You can see Sentosa too from there. 3. The location - just 5 minutes from the Tanjong Pagar MRT. 4. That salmon soba at Tuxedo. It is a healthy dish with a generous amount of soba, fresh mango salsa, seaweeds and a nicely panfried salmon. This dish is non oily and is good if you want a guilt-free lunch.

Excellent breakfast spot and they make a great coffee! Recommended, even if you're not staying at this hotel.
